The incubation period is 14-24 hours. If you’re a fan of mild and smooth yogurts, incubate for less; if you prefer your probiotic yogurt thick and tangy, incubate for longer. Either way, you’ll benefit from a super-strength probiotic that’s completely unique.
Beyond its ability to make the world’s strongest probiotic yogurt, there are several factors which make the Progurt Incubator special. The 100% silent, energy-efficient device is made from fully recyclable resins; impact-resistant; and supplied with a multi-region electric input. What’s more, it comes with a 5-Year Factory Guarantee to grant you peace of mind.
No more visits to the supermarket to buy big-brand probiotic yogurts – most of which contain sweeteners and additives, not to mention an insufficient number of colony-forming units. Thanks to the Progurt Incubator, you can blend your own just how you like it.
The Progurt Yogurt Incubator is recommended for those who wish to cost-effectively use Progurt Probiotic sachets, and to benefit from consuming a high-strength probiotic yogurt to replenish gut flora and balance the microbiome.
When your Progurt is ready, put it in the refrigerator or consume straightaway. A typical serving is around 200ml, so one tub provides a litre of yogurt – or a five-day supply if consuming once per day. You can also add Progurt Prebiotic and mix through just prior to consumption.

Q. What type of milk should I use to make Probiotic Yogurt?
A. Use only Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) Full Cream Dairy Milk at room temperature. UHT Dairy Milk is also termed Ultra Pasteurized or Long Life. Full Cream Dairy Milk is also termed Whole Milk. UHT Dairy Milk is a sterile foundation for the Progurt starter culture to grow. Progurt must be made with sterile dairy milk, so if you don’t have UHT Dairy Milk you must boil your milk first. Ensure milk as at room temperature before you begin making Progurt. It is recommended that you choose the highest quality milk available. You can use both Cows milk and Goats milk.
Q. Can I make fresh Probiotic Yogurt, using already-made Probiotic Yogurt as the starter culture?
A. No. Fresh Progurt Yogurt cannot be made using already-made Progurt Yogurt as a starter culture. The strains of bacteria contained in Progurt are indigenous to the human gastro-intestinal tract and will not replicate.
Q. Can I use Skimmed Milk or Lite Milk?
A. No. You cannot use Skimmed Milk or Lite Milk. UHT/Long Life/Ultra Pasteurized Full Cream Milk at room temperature is the only type of milk that can be used when making Progurt Yogurt.
Q. Can I add Probiotic Yogurt to other foods?
A. Yes. Progurt Yogurt can be added to muesli, fresh and frozen fruit and as dip for vegetables. Do not add to hot foods, as the bacteria will die, if subjected to high temperatures.
Q. Can I consume Probiotic Yogurt warm?
A. Yes. You may consume it fresh from the Progurt Incubator, but not artificially heated, such as in a microwave, as the bacteria will die if subjected to microwaves or high temperatures.
Q. Can I add sweeteners to Progurt Yogurt?
A. Yes. Only natural sweeteners are recommended. Such as 100% pure Maple Syrup, Organic Honey, Fresh Fruit or Progurt's Prebiotic.
Q. How long will Probiotic Yogurt last refrigerated?
A. Progurt Yogurt will stay fresh for up to 14 days refrigerated, however it is best consumed within 7 days of its incubation in order to receive maximum benefits from the probiotic bacteria.
Q. Do you offer a warranty on the Progurt Incubator?
A. Yes. We offer a 5 year guarantee against faulty material and manufacture.
Q. Can Probiotic Yogurt be frozen?
A. No. Progurt Yogurt cannot be frozen. The Progurt bacteria will die if subjected to freezing temperatures.
Q. What is the clear fluid that sometimes appears at the top of Probiotic Yogurt?
A. The clear fluid that sometimes appears at the top of Progurt Yogurt is Whey. This is a normal consequence of fermentation. Simply stir the contents to re-mix the Whey.
