EMFs are electromagnetic frequencies (or electrosmog). We get exposure from electromagnetic fields from mobile phone masts, Wi-Fi, mobile phones, cordless phones, computers, smart meters, microwaves, radios, TVs, electrical appliances etc. We also get EMF exposure from the sun and in nature.
Electromagnetic exposure is rising with the rollout of 5G and its 20,000 satellites getting blasted into outer space. Though government and industry say we have nothing to fear from increasing EMF radiation, there's a growing amount of non-corporate research saying otherwise.
Not only is it not safe for humans and pets, but according to hundreds of studies, 5G has a significant impact on the environment, with birds, bees, wildlife and plants being significantly affected.
So, for those of us who are concerned about the health risks from EMFs, what can we do? We need to find solutions. And there are solutions.
Among other lifestyle choices like daily grounding, nutritional choices can help. Antioxidant-rich foods and certain supplements may ease some of the adverse effects of EMF radiation.
What are the health risks and symptoms associated with EMF toxicity?
There is a wide range of potential health risks associated with EMF exposure. They include:
- An increased risk of cancer
- DNA damage, oxidative and cellular stress
- Heart problems
- Neurological issues
- Increased blood sugar levels and diabetes
- Disruption of the reproductive system
- Mental health issues
- Impaired cognitive function and an increased risk of Alzheimer's
- Weakened immunity
Common signs and symptoms of EMF radiation include:
- Headaches
- Eye symptoms including worsening vision, cataracts and eyestrain
- Heart palpitations, arrhythmia, chest pain and blood pressure imbalance
- Bronchial conditions including bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia and sinus issues
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Depression and anxiety
- Mood swings
- Brain fog, difficulty concentrating and issues with memory
- Sleep problems
- Tiredness and fatigue

- Blood sugar imbalance and diabetes
Many people suffer from electrosensitivity where they have a low tolerance to EMFs, developing symptoms from minimal exposure.
EMF radiation contributes to oxidative stress, inflammation and disease
You probably know that increased free radicals are harmful to health, causing oxidative stress leading to illness. But not all free radicals are dangerous, and a certain amount are essential for various physiological processes within our bodies.
The problem starts when poor health, an unhealthy diet, inadequate sleep, stress, and environmental toxins, including EMFs, increase free radicals to such an extent we struggle to maintain the right balance.
Antioxidants help neutralise harmful free radicals, reducing the risk of oxidative stress and inflammation. If we don't have enough antioxidant power at our disposal, we can't keep on top of high levels.
When this delicate balance is off for a prolonged period, a vicious cycle ensues where increased oxidative stress generates inflammation, leading to more oxidative stress. Damage to cells and tissues causes more distress, contributing to the cycle.
Oxidative stress contributes to many conditions, including cancer, atherosclerosis, hypertension, neurological diseases, diabetes, and respiratory issues, including asthma.
Sound familiar? When you look at the list of health risks and symptoms connected with 5G and EMF radiation, such as cardiovascular and neurological disorders, these are associated conditions.
The power of antioxidants
Antioxidants are essential to help combat the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation, neutralising excess free radicals, reducing oxidative stress and inflammation.
Antioxidants provide anti-ageing properties, cognitive, heart and eye function protection, blood glucose management and immune health. Looking at the list of health conditions and symptoms associated with EMF exposure, you can easily see how antioxidants can positively impact.
We produce antioxidants ourselves, but ageing, a poor diet, illness, stress and increased exposure to pollutants like smoking, medication and environmental toxins can deplete valuable resources.
It's essential to look after ourselves, manage stress effectively and reduce our exposure to toxins to help preserve precious antioxidant reserves and decrease the risk of oxidative stress.
We can also improve our diets and increase our antioxidant intake.
Heavy metal toxicity
Heavy metal toxicity can make you more sensitive to 5G and EMF radiation.
We are exposed to various heavy metals which become toxic at low concentrations. These include mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium, nickel, thallium, uranium and aluminium. Even metals like manganese, iron, zinc and calcium can become harmful at higher levels.
We're exposed to heavy metals in numerous ways, including:
- In our drinking water
- Various foods, including fish and tinned goods
- Amalgam fillings
- Vaccines (which contain heavy metal preservatives, either Thiomersal of Aluminium, and Formaldehyde).
- Our environment, e.g. paints, fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides, factory waste, lead batteries and treated wood.
- Household products
- Tattoos
Millions of people worldwide suffer the ill effects of heavy metal toxicity. Many of its health risks and symptoms mirror EMF radiation and can be an underlying cause of oxidative stress and inflammation.
Some researchers believe that the higher our levels of heavy metals, the more we act as an antenna attracting EMF radiation and amplifying its effects, leading to electrosensitivity and illness.
There are certain foods you can eat to help detox heavy metals, and there are some beneficial supplements listed below.
Foods and supplements that can help to reduce the negative impact of electromagnetic radiation
1) Eat plenty of antioxidant-rich foods
On balance, it's most beneficial to get antioxidants from food, and research suggests that taking antioxidant supplements in high doses doesn't provide more benefit.
Often, supplements focus on one isolated antioxidant, e.g. a vitamin C or vitamin A supplement. These don't benefit from the synergistic relationship with other nutrients you'll naturally find in food.
For example, when you eat a piece of fruit, any antioxidants it provides work in harmony with the other vitamins, minerals and nutrients it contains. It's this nutritional symbiosis that is most beneficial.
One important fact to note is that antioxidants are substances, which can be too much of a good thing in concentrated supplement form. You can consume plenty of healthy food without overdosing on the nutrients they provide.
If you consume a varied, natural diet full of nutrient-dense whole foods, including brightly coloured fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and other plant foods like nuts, seeds, and healthy oils, you should get a wealth of antioxidants.
Fish, seafood, poultry and other meats also contain antioxidants.
Aim to eat organic wherever possible to avoid pesticides and benefit from the minerals provided by more nutritious soil. Keep all meat and animal products free-range, grass and naturally fed and preferably organic too.
2) Antioxidant food supplements
If you are interested in antioxidant supplements, food supplements are best as you gain all of the nutrition the ingredients have to offer rather than an isolated antioxidant.
Find ones that are tested for purity, have no preservatives or additives and are prepared in a way that retains all the goodness of the foods it contains.
Green Vibrance Powder contains 70 ingredients, including organic grasses and antioxidant herbs and foods. This is an excellent addition to a healthy diet to up your vegetable intake further and gain the benefit of antioxidant-rich foods along with all the other invaluable nutrients they have to offer.
3) HydroTab: Molecular Hydrogen Water Tablets
Drinking hydrogen-rich water may help to protect against electromagnetic radiation.
Molecular hydrogen (H2) is an odourless, colourless gas that is essential for life. It's a super-antioxidant that may help to reduce the effects of harmful EMF radiation, including oxidative stress, DNA and cellular damage.
By adding molecular hydrogen tablets to your drinking water, you create structured water full of antioxidant power that is highly energising and detoxifying.
H2 helps to decrease inflammation and has selective effects, targeting particularly harmful reactive oxygen species. It downregulates the expression of proinflammatory and inflammatory cytokines, reducing oxidative stress and also helps upregulate your cells' antioxidant defence system.
The Biocera jug also stimulates molecular hydrogen in your drinking water.
4) Take supplements to encourage heavy metal detox
If you're concerned that you have heavy metal toxicity, it's worth getting tested. You may benefit from finding a naturopath, nutritional therapist, functional medicine practitioner, or practitioner of choice who can help you with this.
If you decide to detox, you may feel a worsening of your symptoms before you start to feel better. It's best to work with a practitioner who can oversee things and help to guide you through the process.
Zeolite Plus is a powerful natural complex of zeolite, humic acid, fulvic acid and pure water, containing natural trace minerals. Many find zeolites are extremely useful due to their unique cage-like chemical structure, which allows them to act as natural absorbents of toxins, including heavy metals.
Fulvic Restore is a heavy metal chelator and powerful antioxidant that enhances mineral and nutrient absorption. It can be a helpful addition when used as part of a detox protocol.
Chlorella, a type of green algae, is a rich source of nutrients with antioxidant power. It's also a metal chelator that binds to heavy metals in the blood and digestive tract, eliminating them from your body. Chlorella is especially effective for lead and mercury.
Conclusion
Many of us are concerned about the ever-increasing amount of 5G and electromagnetic radiation. We're worried about the health risks, and their environmental impact and a growing number of us already suffer from electrosensitivity which can be debilitating.
We can do things to protect ourselves against the harmful effects of EMFs, including a healthy intake of antioxidant-rich foods and protecting against heavy metal toxicity. Drinking structured water may also be a powerful preventative.
